Welcome to SFNE Online

SFNE Online is an unofficial guide to the Six Flags them park in Agawam, Massachusetts. Six Flags New England opened its doors way back in 1840 as a picnic area called Gallopes Grove. It began its official Amusement Park days in 1940 when it operated as Riverside Park. In 1998 Premier Parks acquired the Six Flags brand name from Time Warner and continued to operate the park under the Riverside name. At the end of the 1999 season the race track, Riverside Speedway, was removed and a major expansion took place paving the way for the Six Flags brand name. For the 2000 season Riverside Park was renamed Six Flags New England.

The final touches are being applied to our new attraction guide. It will return shortly. We apologize for any inconvenience.
