Q&A Day Updates Night Updates As you may know, today is Super Hero Celebration. Aj is at the park, with other members from the site, and he is sending pics to me from his cell phone. Which is why the quality might be bad for you. He has asked me to post them. Now the park is open.
Schedule: -At 2:30 it's lunch time in the Picnic Grove -Meet and Greet with SFNE Park President, Larry Litton -Q&A Session with some of our questions. Well I'm not there but I will tell Aj to look for you and he'll tell the other members.
Update: Aj is sitting in his car right now in the preferred lot and he can see a steady stream of people walking across the bridge into the park. Answers to OUR Questions! And more:
-Yes, there will be new floats for the Glow in the Park Parade! -More ride swapping will happen, so it is pretty much confirmed the ride swap is coming back -No new ride this year -Talked about moving Kontiki to Crack Axel Canyon but now they are not going to do it. However plans may change. -A lot of stuff planned for 2011 including a major attraction. -No new trains for Flashback or Mind Eraser -Catapult will not be going anywhere Here is a little Bizarro update: -Trains will be worked on majorly. -Looking into a new audio. I'm guessing they will remove the current braking system and use brakes like the Cyclone has and run two trains.
There can't be much major stuff done to a wooden coaster and I do not see it being "pimped out", but we'll see I guess. |

Well I am guessing that it will be the major attraction for '11.
EDIT at 5:02 PM: Sorry for the lack of updates within the last 2 hours. He wasn't giving me anything because they were doing a shoot for the 11 PM news on channel 22 CT. Updates should resume soon. I updated the Q&A post with more questions answered. Well, I think, as the day is wrapping up, this is it. Aj may have a few more photos for us all, but they are waiting for ERT on Bizarro.
Stay tuned later on in the night for official PTR and a thread with all the answers to the Q&A. What I know is that in 2011 I know all of us will be really happy. We should also expect to be happy this year. A lot of park updates and refurbs. Plus, we aren't loosing any rides! It should be a good season for 2010 and 2011 and I'm looking foward to both of them. I really hope you enjoyed Aj and I doing this today. It is sort of a test for next season as we can do this again. Please please please, give him or me feedback on if you liked it. What could be changed about it. If you guys don't like it be sure to let us know too. Also note that this isn't his official trip report. He brought his regular camera too and will have much much better pictures that aren't cell quality. Again please give us feedback, in the form of PM's or right on here before it gets locked. I hope you enjoyed the very first live park update for SFNEOnline. |

-Lots and lots of painting this year, however Thunderbolt will not be painted. Why? Something major is happening in 2011 to it!

I enjoyed this too, I was there for the event, and it was a great one!
I think this concept is a good one, but the new post for every little thing seams a bit overwhelming, but its a good concept. |
